First-time Voters Share Hopes And Expectations For Georgia Midterm Election

First-time voters have shown up in record numbers in this midterm election. A national poll shows Georgia voter turnout is up 476 percent among 18 to 29-year-olds.
We gathered a group of young people to talk about their first-time voting experiences on Election Day in Georgia. "On Second Thought" host Virginia Prescott spoke with Emma Tucker and Marleena Tamminen from the University of Georgia. Camdan County High School senior Raydan Wilder also joined the conversation.
