Georgia Gas Prices Lowest In 2 Years, AAA Says

The year is off to a great start at the gas pumps for Georgia residents.
Gas prices statewide are the lowest they've been since 2016 and have been consistently dropping since late last year, according to American Automobile Association.
Just last week, gas prices dropped an additional 3 cents, which rounded out to a total 74-cent decrease since October.
The current average price for a gallon is $2.06 as compared to when gas prices averaged a record $2.84 on Memorial Day.
Gas prices are expected to stay low through January.
A Sam's Club in Chamblee had gas at $1.89 a gallon on Monday, according to GasBuddy.com. The best prices in the Georgia are in Ringgold, which is in the norwest corner of the state.
Hinesville-Fort Stewart currently holds the highest gas price at $2.22 a gallon, according to AAA.
AAA experts anticipate $2.75 to be the highest gas prices 2019 will see.
