The 20th Annual Super Bowl Gospel Celebration will be one of many events taking place in Atlanta before the big game on Feb. 3.

The NFL Players Choir, a group of current and former athletes, serenaded City Hall this week during the announcement of the concert.

They will perform alongside gospel artists, like Atlanta's Tasha Cobb Leonard and the Winans.

Arthur McAfee, senior vice president of player engagement for the NFL, spoke at the presentation along with Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms.

“This is our way to allow the players to connect with the faith community,” McAfee said. “We always talk about faith and football, and that’s what the gospel concert represents for us.”

The concert will take place at Atlanta Symphony Hall on Jan. 31, with local radio host Rickey Smiley slated to serve as co-host.

The concert will then be rebroadcast on BET the night before the big game.
