Today, the nominations will be revealed for the Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards, also known as the Shuler Hensley Awards.
Shuler Hensley sits down with GPB's Leah Fleming
This is the largest statewide high school musical competition in the country. The award ceremony is tantamount to the Tony Awards complete with red carpet and live TV coverage provided by GPB.
Tony award winning actor and Marietta native Shuler Hensley, for whom the awards are named after, will host the event next month.
We sit down with Hensley to talk about his career and what he thinks of the next crop of talented theater students in the state of Georgia.
