Mercedes-Benz Stadium Slashes Food Prices, Goes Cashless
Primary Content
Prices for Mercedes-Benz Stadium’s fan-friendly concession are dropping even lower.
Stadium officials announced Monday that they would be dropping prices on five items by 50 cents. That includes hot dogs, which are the stadium's top selling item. Pretzel bites, the ATL Bud Burger, ice cream waffle cones and chips and salsa are the other items seeing a price reduction.
The new prices will be effective as early as March 10, the date of Atlanta United’s first home game of the season.
For those planning to attend any United, Falcons or other sporting events at the stadium, purchases will be cashless.
Stadium officials said the change makes MBS the first NFL and MLS stadium to be cashless stadium-wide.
The move is an effort to improve efficiency and flexibility. Officials said they will be able to change prices more regularly. For Super Bowl 53, there were more than 76,000 credit card transactions in the stadium.
Cashless operations also start March 10.
