On this edition of Political Rewind, Georgia election issues top our political news today. Despite concerns from citizen groups and cyber security experts, the Senate approved a new computerized voting system for the state, it now goes back to the House for a final vote.

Meanwhile, the ACLU has filed a federal lawsuit contending that Georgia's four largest counties are not equipped to handle high turnout elections that in 2018 had voters waiting for hours to cast ballots. 

Early voting on the Gwinnett County MARTA referendum continues today. What do the early voter profiles tell us about whether the effort to bring MARTA to Gwinnett is likely to succeed?  And what’s at stake with the vote?

And in national news, the U.S. Senate may be on the verge of rejecting President Trump’s declaration of a national emergency at the southern border.
