On this edition of Political Rewind, as the week begins, a bill that all but bans abortion in Georgia tops news out of the legislature once again. We’ll look at today’s early morning Senate committee meeting that was called with little advance notice to determine the fate of the measure.

Advocates of a state takeover of Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport may have found new fuel for their effort. An investigative report by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reveals that Atlanta Mayor Keisha Bottoms may have illegally given a high paying airport job to a top aid who was never expected to work at the airport. 

Plus, the Gwinnett MARTA election is tomorrow as well as a number of ballot initiatives in a number of other counties around the state.
