Squidbillies is Atlanta-based Adult Swim’s third-longest running animated series. The 12th season of the show premieres Sunday.  On Thursday, Chuck Reece of The Bitter Southerner Podcast will talk with cast and creators of the show in front of a live audience at GPB.  Ahead of those events, hear from creators Dave Willis and Jim Fortier.

Monday is the 50-year anniversary of the Ansley Mall riots, credited with sparking the LGBTQ rights movement in the South.  Get a round-table perspective with Dave Hayward, the coordinator of Touching Up Our Roots; Abby Drue, the executive director of The Ben Marion Institute for Social Justice; and Lorraine Fontana, a social justice activist on the history and the present-day work for equality here in Georgia.
