On this edition of Political Rewind, we look at news out of two of the country’s most hotly contested Congressional races. In the 6th District Republicans pressure a self-avowed white nationalist to withdraw from the GOP primary.

And the already crowded 7th District Democratic primary contest gets yet another candidate – this one a female veteran of the Gulf War now serving in the State Legislature.

Meanwhile, Republican donors and elected officials will gather in an Atlanta suburb tonight for what some are calling an ill-timed fundraiser. The ‘Marksmanship and BBQ’ event held in the 11th Congressional District will be a target practice featuring the NRA president, Georgia GOP Chairman and many others.

Plus, a federal judge has now issued a long-awaited decision on Georgia’s election machinery. Judge Amy Totenberg has ruled that even though the state’s voting computers are “unsecure and unreliable,” they will be used for 2019 municipal elections.
