Today on Political Rewind, we sit down for an exclusive interview with Georgia’s Speaker of the House David Ralston. Our conversation’s timing could not be better.

One year from today we will know the results of the 2020 elections. We will know whether Donald Trump has been re-elected president and won Georgia in the process.

Will Sen. David Perdue keep his seat and will Republicans be able to keep control of the Georgia House. How does Ralston see these battles shaping up?

In the meantime, the next session of the General Assembly is just over two months away. What are the issues Ralston is looking to see passed? Does he believe a battle with the legislature is looming over Gov. Brian Kemp’s stinging budget cuts?
