We're heading into the last week of January. Maybe you're still on a fresh start for the new year, and keeping up with your resolutions. But are your music playlists still cycling through last year's hits?

If that's the case, then you'll be glad to know that every month, Atlanta's Paste Magazine publishes a list of upcoming record releases to keep you up to date on fresh tunes. 'On Second Thought' host Virginia Prescott speaks with Josh Jackson and Ellen Johnson.

Josh Jackson, Paste's co-founder and editor-in-chief, and Ellen Johnson, the publication's assistant music editor, joined On Second Thought to preview some of the new and upcoming albums they're excited about. 

In the coming months, you can expect to see music releases from artists like Tame Impala, Frank Ocean, Soccer Mommy, Bonny Light Horseman, Tennis and more. A number of the acts releasing new music this year hail from Georgia, including Run the Jewels, Migos, The Black Lips and Torres.
