Today's music minute features an up-and-coming Latinx artist who is making her way in Atlanta.
Felicita, a Guatemalan American artist, released a music video for her latest single "Mi Suerte" this month.Music Minute: Felicita
"It's a very special song for me (because) its the first time I've sung entirely in Spanish," Felicita told GPB. "Usually I do a mixture between English and Spanish. 'Mi Suerte,' which means 'My Luck,' is basically a bittersweet love song."

Besides perfoming and writing music, Felicita is also working to make sure her community is counted in the upcoming census.
"One of the things i'm doing soon is a census awareness project," Felicita said.
"It's basically building awareness of the census in the Latinx community, basically saying that our Latin vote does count and that it's important for us to have a voice and use that voice."
Felicita is preparing to release her first EP in the near future. In April, she'll be performing at Smith's Olde Bar in Atlanta.
