In this week’s Medical Minute, Dr. Joseph Hobbs, Chair Emeritus of the Department of Family Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, discusses a “Danger Molecule”, that, when released because a cell gets injured or stressed, can activate an unhealthy state of inflammation associated with obesity and cardiovascular risk.
