Georgia has been in the national spotlight this week as officials continue to count ballots in the 2020 presidential election. The Peach State came under even more scrutiny when Democrat Joe Biden took a lead in the state’s presidential contest.

Although the vote count continues, the recent status shrinks President Donald Trump’s potential pathway to reelection. Georgia most recently voted for a Democratic president in 1992, and for some, the flip is like music to their ears.
