The Atlanta Braves will give a nod to past and present with a two-part parade celebrating their first World Series title in 26 years.

The championship parade will be held at noon on Friday with a free concert by Ludacris and Big Boi. At least eight school districts in the state have canceled classes on Friday so students will have a chance to watch the parade in-person.

Friday's procession will start at Woodruff Park in downtown Atlanta, not far from their former homes at Turner Field and the old Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. The parade will wind along the city's most famous thoroughfare, Peachtree Street, before the Braves are escorted to its current home in suburban Cobb County to resume the parade.

The Truist Park gates open at 12 p.m., and the celebration begins at 3:30 p.m. The Ludacris and Big Boi concert at Truist Park is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m and conclude by 6 p.m.

According to the Braves' website, tickets are free and will be available to reserve on Thursday, November 4 at the following times:

  • 10 a.m. ET – A-List Premium Members
  • 10:30 a.m. ET – A-List Members, Corporate Partners
  • 11:30 p.m. ET – Braves Insiders, Friends & Family
  • 1 p.m. ET – General Public

The Braves strongly recommend pre-purchasing parking, which costs $10 and will be available to purchase at the same time you reserve your event ticket. To help avoid road closures, parking is only available to pre-purchase in the parking lots east of Truist Park. Fans can enter through the Left Field and Third Base Gates.
