In this week’s Medical Minute, Dr. Joseph Hobbs, Chair Emeritus of the Department of Family Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, discusses the battle a diet too high in salt causes for our brain, as it works to dilute and excrete the substance…a process that can cause hyperactivity of some neurons leading to high blood pressure and heart disease.
