The breakdown:

Pulitizer Prize winner Cynthia Tucker joins Bill Nigut. She's a former columnist and Washington correspondent for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and an expert on southern politics.

She discusses her new book, The Southernization of America: A Story of Democracy in the Balance. Tucker gives her perspective on growing up in the segregated South, disinformation in politics, and more on Political Rewind.

Tucker also discussed content bans in classrooms in the U.S.

Cynthia Tucker discusses critical race theory ban in schools.

"If we don't teach students actual history, how will they know what happened that was wrong?" she said. "How will they know how to read? How to lead the nation forward? And that is what's dangerous about this whole so-called CRT battle: that students won't know how not to avoid the things that the nation's leaders did wrong."

Wednesday on Political Rewind:

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Greg Bluestein joins the panel.
