The breakdown

1. Overwhelming evidence shows that supporters of then-President Donald Trump copied Georgia’s statewide voting software from an election office in rural Coffee County.

  • This happened back in 2021.
  • The FBI doesn’t appear to be investigating the case, and the GBI investigation has been pending for eight months.

LISTEN: Ed Lindsey speaks on the length of the investigation.

 2. Gov. Brian Kemp will skip the Georgia GOP convention in Columbus in June.

  • The break comes after a long rift with the governor after he broke away from the Trump-centered party.
  • Patricia Murphy points out that Kemp can have fundraising success outside the party.

LISTEN: Patricia Murphy on Kemp's relationship with the state's GOP.
