- Judge gives Fulton County DA Fani Willis an extra two weeks to respond to former President Donald Trump's motion to essentially shut down any prosecution of post-2020 election interference.
- Cathy Latham, fake elector and former leader of the Coffee County GOP, joined the motion last week.
- The combined response is due May 15.
- The same poll shows that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who hasn't announced his bid yet, performs better than Trump in a general election match up with Biden.
- But the poll is early on in the election cycle and only weighs 500 voters.
3. Georgia K-12 panel could soon erase "woke" words like "diverse" from training rules.
- The Georgia Professional Standards Commission could rid programs of words like "diversity," "equity" and "inclusion" and replace them with words like "difference," "fairness" and "opportunity."
- The changes would apply to positions including elementary school teachers, and roles of principals and superintendents.
4. Atlanta lawmakers request DOJ investigation into shooting death of training center protester.
- GPB talked to an expert about why the two different autopsies of the Atlanta protester killed by police could both be valid.
