Several influential political figures are expected to attend a tribute service for former first lady Rosalyn Carter in Atlanta.
Former first lady Rosalynn Carter's invite-only tribute service is taking place on Tuesday in Atlanta.
The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will provide music for the funeral. Performances by Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chamber Chorus are also expected, The Carter Center said.
The Carters' personal pastor, Pastor Tony Lowden, will give a call to worship at the service, which will be held at Emory University's Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church.
The Carters' children and grandchildren will also be involved in the service. Former President Jimmy Carter, who entered hospice care in February, plans to attend as well.
