Federal funding is coming to programs in Marietta, Macon, Dublin, and Atlanta to address economic disparities in maternal health and maternal mortality rates across Georgia.

U.S. District Court Judge Steve C. Jones of the Northern District of Georgia has announced he would take senior status starting in January, creating a vacancy on the bench.
