LISTEN: While for a lot of people, a day at the beach is an essential summer activity, an oceanfront isn’t available to everyone in Georgia. But you can still find beach fun if you know where to look. GPB's Taleen Hanna brings this audio postcard.
At Lake Tobesofkee in Bibb County, people take in the beach scene even though the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico are both hours away.
There's sand castles, jet skiing and just plain "cool vibes" here at what one visitor calls "a hidden gem."
