Georgians are assessing the damage and beginning what promises to be a long clean up process from Hurricane Helene.
The storm blitzed through the state overnight with hurricane force winds after hitting Florida's Gulf Coast as a Category 4 storm.
Officials say 11 people died in Georgia. The hardest-hit areas were in the southeast. Valdosta's mayor reported "utter devastation."
