Governor Brian Kemp warned state lawmakers today that he’ll call a special session if they don't take action to limit lawsuit verdicts.

He made the comments at his annual State of the State address.  The Democratic response focused on the state's budget surplus.

Authorities arrested a northwest Georgia state Senator after he attempted to violate a ban on his entering the state House chamber.
