More than 100 scientists, researchers and their supporters showed up for the stand up for science rally outside the Georgia State Capitol this afternoon/Friday. Thursday was Crossover Day at the state Capitol, a critical deadline when bills must pass one chamber in order to make it to the other and eventually become law.

More than 100 scientists, researchers and their supporters showed up for a "Stand Up for Science" rally outside the state Capitol this afternoon.

Metro Atlanta recorded the highest pollen count of the year so far last week, making lots of people start to sneeze and sniffle. And it wasn't even March.
