The father of a 14-year-old boy accused in a deadly attack at a north Georgia high school will not be tried by jurors from Barrow County. 

Georgia is the latest state to enact a law allowing terminally ill patients to use experimental medications that haven’t been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

A federal judge in Atlanta heard a case Thursday that could grant temporary protections to foreign students whose visa records were removed by the federal government.
