Gov. Brian Kemp signed into law yesterday one of his top priorities for this year's legislative session — two bills limiting lawsuits in Georgia.

A former archbishop of Atlanta is now in Rome to help elect the next pope, while the current archbishop urges reflection and prayer after the death of Pope Francis.

Many of Georgia's favorite fruits and vegetables are looking good this year, thanks to favorable weather conditions during the growing season.
