Trump campaigned in 2016 on a promise he would make cities safer. Now running for reelection, he vows to protect the suburbs from the cities.
Trump says agents will go "into communities plagued by violent crime." He adds the administration has "no choice but to get involved."
"It is illegal to wave weapons in a threatening manner at those participating in nonviolent protest ... this type of conduct is unacceptable in St. Louis," Circuit Attorney Kimberly Gardner said.
