From Florida to Arizona, reproductive rights supporters seek to add abortion access to state constitutions after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned the federal right to abortion in 2022.

Missouri has one of the strictest abortion bans in the U.S. Abortion rights supporters have until May to gather over 171,000 signatures to have the issue appear before voters this fall.

If approved by voters on Nov. 7, 'Issue 1' would amend Ohio's state constitution to include protections for reproductive health decisions, laying the groundwork for similar measures next year.
