The Columbus Division of Police released silent video of the fatal shooting Wednesday. The officer who fired the shots has been placed on paid administrative leave.
Goodson, 23, was shot and killed last Friday. Law enforcement authorities say he was seen earlier driving with a gun but have not said Goodson was armed at the time he was shot.
The U.S. Justice Department said it is investigating whether Goodson, a 23-year-old Black man, had his civil rights violated when he was shot and killed by law enforcement Dec. 4.
