White's election as a Meta director two weeks before Trump takes office comes as Silicon Valley is courting the incoming administration.
The new business will focus on growing media rights and sponsorship revenue, and will be lead by Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel. Vince McMahon, executive chairman at WWE, will serve in the same role.
