Kiley Reid made a splash with her 2019 novel Such a Fun Age. Her latest book is set at the University of Arkansas, and it's a refreshing look at day-to-day college life outside the Ivy League.

Shafik, who was born in Egypt and grew up in the United States, has extensive experience across global financial institutions and higher education.

The Ivy League has put all sports on hold until at least January, while Stanford plans to discontinue 11 of its 36 varsity programs after this academic year.
