The CEO of one of Nigeria's largest banks was killed Friday along with his wife and son when a helicopter they were riding in crashed near Interstate 15 in Southern California's Mojave Desert.
The suspects were arrested after deputies served search warrants on Sunday. "We are confident that this appears to be a dispute over marijuana," a sheriff's department spokesperson said.
The jet based at Naval Air Station Lemoore went down Friday in the area of Trona in San Bernardino County, the Navy said. The pilot's identity and details of the crash weren't immediately released.
