Louisville is wrestling over what to do with a statue of its colonial namesake, French King Louis XVI. Museums and the public are hesitant to put it back on display.
New York City's American Museum of Natural History began the process of removing the controversial statue from its entrance on Tuesday night. It will be shipped to North Dakota in the coming weeks.
The temporary ban will remain in place until the statue's removal on Wednesday. The FAA says it was putting the ban in place for "Special Security Reasons."
