Many companies are calling employees back on-site now that the pandemic is winding down. They're also being flexible to keep workers who appreciate the comforts and conveniences of working from home.
A quarter of full-time employees were still working exclusively from home in December 2021, according to Gallup. Now companies are starting to call them back to the office at least a few days a week.
Many offices that have been closed since March 2020 are beginning to bring workers back, but not all companies think they need a return to the old ways.
The coronavirus did not create the struggles that working mothers face daily. But it has exacerbated them and made them more visible, forcing women of all income levels to make hard choices.
