All nine Georgia Republican U.S. House members voted for Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan during his first failed bid for House Speaker yesterday. 

A Black man from metro Atlanta, released after being wrongfully sentenced to 16 years in prison in Florida was shot and killed Monday by a sheriff's deputy during a traffic stop in Camden County.

Georgia has opened the wait list for its Housing Choice Voucher Program for the first time in two-years.
