The Region 7-7A championship will be decided when Peachtree Ridge travels to Norcross on GPB’s Football Fridays in Georgia. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.

Norcross won its most recent region title in 2020 and has won six region championships and two state titles (2012-13). Peachtree Ridge won its only region championship in 2008 and won the state championship in 2006. Norcross leads the series 7-6. Norcross won 50-13 in 2022.

Peachtree Ridge (7-0, 3-0) is coming off a 62-0 win over Discovery. Norcross (6-1, 3-0) defeated Meadowcreek 48-0 on Friday.

Norcross coach Keith Maloof this season became the winningest football coach in Gwinnett County history. Last week he won his 200th game with the Blue Devils. 

The GPB Web game features Perry (7-1, 4-0) at Spalding (9-0, 5-0) in a battle to decide the Region 2-4A championship. Spalding is trying to complete the first unbeaten regular season in school history and win its first region championship since 2003. Perry has won seven straight since its season-opening loss to Houston County and is trying to win its fourth consecutive region championship.
