Speaker of the House Jon Burns announced major new tax legislation on Wednesday.

The Georgia state Senate Wednesday passed a bill to redraw school board districts in Georgia's second-largest school system after a federal judge ruled they were unconstitutionally discriminatory.

A first-of-its-kind sustainable jet fuel factory was unveiled Wednesday in rural Soperton, Georgia.
