As executive director of the Atlanta Press Club, Lauri Strauss manages the day-to-day operations of the club, including the organization’s budget, fundraising events, educational programs, sponsorships and board development. Lauri has a degree in broadcast journalism. She started her career as an associate producer at the local NBC-TV affiliate in Tucson, Arizona, before moving to Atlanta in the ‘90s to work in the CNN newsroom. Lauri also worked for The Coca-Cola Company in its public and media relations department and was an area manager with the American Cancer Society. She is on the board of the Agape Youth and Family Center, a member of the Junior League of Atlanta, and she is in the Leadership Atlanta class of 2015.
