Many defendants included on lists of potentially compromised cases prepared by the Glynn County district attorney said they were unaware their accusers had been convicted of misconduct or that their cases could be reviewed until The Current contacted them this past winter.
Though more than 450 people's drug-related convictions were flagged years ago by the former Brunswick area district attorney for possible review because of wrongdoing by GBNET officers, scores of them were never informed of this opportunity to challenge their convictions.
