Seven Steps for Ageless Living
Primary Content
The phrase “age is just a number” often pops up during conversations with my friends as we’re plotting the next chapters of our lives. Should we go back to school? Should we change careers? Are we ready to care for both children and aging parents in some cases? For me, rather than being a rallying cry of conviction that I am fit for whatever task lies ahead or whatever new dream I want to pursue, it’s a weak consolation.
I psych myself up with cardio workouts to Alicia Keys’ “Girl on Fire,” but when the endorphin rush is gone, it’s easy to get stymied by the voices in my head and the voice of society telling me how age will impact my capabilities and behavior moving forward.
And then I read a quote from Dr. Christiane Northrup about her new television special “Glorious Women Never Age!." Dr. Northrup, who will appear live in the GPB Studios when the special airs Sunday, December 7 at 1 p.m. and Monday, December 8 at 8 p.m., is one of the world’s leading authorities in the field of women’s health and wellness. In the special, Dr. Northrup addresses what she calls “ageless living," as what you’ll experience when you engage life without fear that you’re going to fall or fall apart.
Her message resonated with me, and I realized I needed to change my internal dialogue. Fortunately for me and others seeking advice, Dr. Northrup will present seven steps to readjust our thinking about age and protect our health as we grow older. You can see Dr. Northrup live in the GPB Studios for her new special “Glorious Women Never Age!” Sunday, December 7 at 1 p.m. and Monday, December 8 at 8 p.m. .
Tune in as Dr. Northrup visits the GPB studio to talk more about the steps she presents in “Glorious Women Never Age!”:
