There were no changes at the top of the GPB Rankings, but there are six new teams that entered the rankings this week.

The No. 1 teams remain Carrollton in Class 6A, Milton in 5A, Marist in 4A, Sandy Creek in 3A, Pierce County in 2A, Toombs County in Class A Division I, Bowdon in Class A Division II and Savannah Christian in Private.

The newcomers are Cedartown at No. 8, Cambridge at No. 9 and Central Carroll at No. 10 in Class 4A; Northwest Whitfield at No. 9 in 3A; Callaway at No. 10 in 2A; and Wesleyan at No. 9 in Class A Division I. Cambridge can be seen on GPB's Streaming Game of the Week on Friday against East Coweta on GPB.org. 

“I’ve been watching Northwest Whitfield for several weeks,” GPB’s Jon Nelson said. “It’s been a while since they’ve got off to a great start like this.”

Grayson, the No. 7 team in Class 6A, will play at Newton in GPB's Football Fridays in Georgia.
