Georgia Emergency Management Director James C. Stallings addresses the media on Tuesday, September 24th, ahead of the expected arrival of Tropical Storm Helene, which forecasters predict will become a hurricane.

Tropical Storm Helene is expected to make landfall as a major hurricane in Florida and bring damaging rain and winds to Georgia.

Former President Donald Trump held a rally in Savannah today.  It was his first campaign event in Georgia since early August.

The State Election Board yesterday approved an investigation into why challenges to voter rolls were denied in eight counties.
