Today, Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens shared that Atlanta's New Year's Eve Peach Drop Festival will return this year Dec. 31 at Underground Atlanta.
After a few years of on-and-off hiatuses, one of the Southeast's most popular traditions ahead of the new year is back to attract tens of thousands of attendees to view the giant peach drop from the over 100-foot tower at midnight.
The event will feature musical performances from musical acts such as Neon Trees, Res, and more, headlined by diamond-selling rapper and producer Bio Boi.
"It is my pleasure to bring this beloved tradition back to the heart of downtown Atlanta during its truly historic and transformative renaissance," Mayor Dickens said in a press release statement. "This event is a fun and exciting way for residents and visitors alike to ring in 2025 like only we can in the ATL."
Atlanta native and famous radio personality Ryan Cameron will emcee, and Live Nation will produce the event.
