Much of Georgia is under a high fire danger warning. The warm, dry and windy weather, combined with low humidity, have created dangerous conditions.

Five of Georgia’s 34 Social Security offices are set to close after Department of Government Efficiency cuts.  Lawmakers and residents rallied against the move.
