U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins met with lawmakers at the Georgia State Capitol Wednesday.

Officials in Savannah expect tens of thousands of visitors to descend on the city's downtown this weekend, ahead of the popular Saint Patrick's Day parade on Monday.

As the temperatures go up and people head outside, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and bird scientists are encouraging a big cleanup of outdoor bird feeders.
