Today could be the day for your big break, either on or off camera. Georgia has become one of the largest producers of film and television in the world. This means more jobs for Georgians, and that's why Georgia.org created its Georgia Film, Music & Digital Entertainment Help Wanted Hotline. 

Here are a few of the current casting calls for Georgia projects. We'll have an updated post twice a month outlining casting details for what's new in Georgia film and television. 

Being Mary Jane, Season 4

The television series “Being Mary Jane” is now casting extras for Season 4! Filming will take place in Atlanta, GA from February-May 2017. The extras rate is $75/8 hours, with an 8-hour guarantee and overtime after 8 hours.

It is currently casting the following extra roles:

-Lawyer types
-Stenographer with equipment news anchors, etc.
-Athletes’ wives types, WAGs
-Extras with bartending and wait staff experience
-Extras with experience working on set as crew (camera, grip, electric, stage manager, teleprompter, PA, hair and makeup, etc.)
-Core news studio extras
-News Anchor types
-Extras with high-end wardrobe
-Skilled drivers
-Extras of all looks and ethnicities, ages 18 and older

Queer Eye for the Straight Guy Reboot

This time around, the iconic show heads to Georgia (within a 3-hour radius of Atlanta) in search of men who desperately need a lifestyle intervention. The Fab Five – experts in interior design, grooming, fashion, food, and culture – are ready to give some Southern men a new look… and a new outlook. They’re out to prove that confidence breeds success and they are looking for nominations! Whether he’s your brother, father, husband, colleague or a close friend, if you know a deserving man with a compelling story, we want to hear about him.
