(Event Date: Thu 05/11)   This Thursday, North Augusta’s 2017 Music in the Park series of free hour-long outdoor concerts kicks off with the “North Augusta Idol Spotlight” and “Dancin’ in the Park” starting at 7pm. This family-friendly dance party is a new addition to the series and features beach music and shag dancing. (Event Date: Fri 5/12)   Lady Antebellum Amphitheatre is the location for what is being billed as “The Ultimate Mother’s Day Weekend Concert”. The Temptations Revue, featuring Dennis Edwards, together with The O’jays  are set to perform this Friday at 8pm. Dennis Edwards was the lead singer of The Temptations when they won Grammy Awards for “Papa Was A Rolling Stone” and “Cloud Nine”. The O’Jays hit records include “I Love Music” and  “Love Train”. (Event dates: Fri-Sat 05/12-13)   This weekend, the Aiken Bluegrass Festival returns for its 13th year to the Western Caroilna State fairgrounds on Friday and Saturday with performances by some of the biggest names in bluegrass. You can enjoy a weekend full of music, unique crafts, kids activities and on-site camping. The fairgrounds are located at 561 May Royal Drive.
