Have you heard Georgia is the No. 1 filming location in the world? It’s true, and that means there is a near-constant push for talent, either behind or in front of the camera.

The Georgia Film, Music and Digital Entertainment office keeps an updated list of what projects are in need of help on a Help Wanted Hotline page that’s updated frequently.

Here are a few projects looking for help right now.

Wanted: Cinematographers

Looking for DPs, shooters with their own camera packages (4K, 10 bit color minimum e.g. Alexa, Red) to shoot on July 4th. Looking for people with epic style, energy, and ability to capture a wow factor in beautiful, natural light (night too).

Wanted: Designers

Production Designer – Feature Film
Tier II film to start principal photography in Georgia in Mid September 2017. Production Designer prep will start as early as June. Candidate should have notable Production Designer credits. This film is a period piece circa 1964.

Wanted: Freelance Casting Assistant

Atlanta, Georgia-based casting company is seeking a Freelance Casting Assistant to work on Major Cable Network Reality TV series. The position is for approximately 4 weeks and begins immediately. Reality casting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Create Bios
  • Conduct extensive research/outreach to secure the best candidates. (Will require cold calling, as well as Internet searches, social media outreach, and networking.)
  • Conduct and edit Skype interviews and prepare one-page follow up reports.

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent writing skills. (Please only submit for this position if you possess the writing requirement, as stated.)
  • Excellent communication/computer skills
  • Highly organized and have multitasking skills
