Trade Five knows nothing is better than true, hands-on learning.

That's why the Trade Five foundation offers a $500 grant to educators wanting to take learning to the next level.

Your students will benefit from taking a fresh look at the skilled trades. These hands-on occupations are changing—they still call for craftsmanship, but they’re more high-tech, high-demand and high earning than ever before.

Have your students’ exploration of the skilled trades paid for. Whether it's a field trip, a site tour, or a skilled trade related project—Trade Five wants you to have the all the tools necessary for getting students excited and involved in these five incredible industries! Amanda Whitmire of Freedom Middle School in Canton, Ga took advantage of this grant, and below you'll see why it was a success for her and her students. Mrs. Whitmire applied for and was awarded the grant and took her class to a local manufacturing facility to show students what a modern manufacuring operation looks like.
